The peaceful death of 82-year-old Oakmont, Pennsylvania resident, occurred on January 8, 2020. born on July 15, 1937, to the late Thomas W. and Genevieve Bryan in Brownsville, Pennsylvania.

Thomas spent 60 years with his high school sweetheart, Margaret “Peggy” (O’Brien). 

Father of Kathleen (Donald) Bell of Midlothian, Virginia, Timothy (Piper) Patterson of Scottsdale, Arizona, Bridget (John) Federici of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, Daniel (Barbara) Patterson of Lebanon, Ohio, the late Megan (Andrew) Burgman of Plum, Pennsylvania, and Maureen (Dean) Vought of Plum, Pennsylvania. 

Sisters Dolores (Ron) Garlits, Donna (Dick) White, and Kitty (the late Buster) Hendry are also still alive, along with 34 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Tommy graduated from Brownsville High School and went on to earn degrees at the University of Pittsburgh and the California University of Pennsylvania.

He worked for Gulf Oil for many years, proudly. 

Tommy will be remembered for how much he loved his family above all else, and for how much he loved reading, crossword puzzles, vintage cars, baseball, and weekend drives to Brownsville.
